It really shouldnt surprise me at this point but they keep marching Amir Garrett out in high leverage situations, blows my mind everytime. He shouldn't be pitching in anything closer than a 8 run game

Well, yeah - and other stuff

Yeah, at this hour it's more likely he had a large pre-game meal and needs to poop.

I'm just glad there is no White Sox baseball today. I feel like I just fell off my roof.

Go everyone else!

Go Ian Anderson! Anderson is pitching the 1st game against Cy deGrom. Damn.

Given the tendency of the Mets bats to pretty much shut down and not score runs when deGrom pitches you should be ok starting Anderson.

curious about urias.  tough road matchup at sd and his last 4 outings have not been as dominant as his start to the season.  hoping he can regain his early season form...

MLB app has Anderson starting game 2 against TBD.

Well at least deGrom won't get a no-hitter or perfect game today, even if he does throw one...

Most unreal thing he will do all night:  catching a 100-mph comebacker!

Not watching the game - mound visit?  Something up with deGrom, again?

EDIT no issue... just always shell shocked with the Mets

deGrom is virtually impossible to hit under normal circumstances, but throw in shadows hitting between the mound/home plate area and now the umpire calling pitches 4+ inches off the plate strikes, and this thing is going to be a no hitter as long as deGrom stays in the game.

Anything he can do to compensate for not calling the bottom part of the zone would be welcome!

Worried about that Baltimore/Houston game. Pivoting away from the Astros DFS stack.

I have 4 players in that game :(

The Mets tv announcing team is by far the best.

Any announcer who correctly says “one earned run or less” - as opposed to “fewer” - wins a ton of points in my book.
